Lagos police seeks enhanced collaboration with Private Security Companies (PSC). The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, held a speech to the management team of the Private Company “Strict Guards Security Limited,” in which he underlined his aim to strengthen the partnership between the state police and private security companies. As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility, the PSC handed over 250 rain jackets and 250 pairs of boots to the police forces.

The fish transports have increasingly become the target of robbers, causing millions of pesos of losses for the fishing companies. For a kilogram of fresh octopus, the international market bears prices of US $14 to $21, making it a precious freight.

Russia and the Central African Republic (CAR) signed a military deal that paves the way for Moscow to train CAR’s Military forces. Russia delivered light arms to the Central African Republic’s security forces earlier this year and said it had deployed 175 military and civilian instructors to train them.
